Doctor Hab. in Educational Sciences, Professor. Director of the Institute of Higher Education, National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine. She is also a cofounder and leading expert of NGO “Institute for Leadership, Innovations and Development”.

Svitlana's major areas of interest are governance in education, development of higher education, educational leadership. Svitlana is a coordinator of number of the project in education. For instance, project of Tempus Program of European Union “Education for Leadership, Intelligence and Talent Encouraging” (2013-2016),project of the International Renaissance Foundation “Legal Basis for Bologna Process Implementation in Ukraine” (2012-2014).

She is an author of about 95 publications, inc. in international journals.
